Some things have changed since page setup, pictures don't match new texts. I'll update soon.
Overall view with a stage tank: Full rig with S40, 200 BAR, DIN, EAN50 stage tank. It's mounted on the left side in order to allow easy long hose deployment. |
Stage Tank: This is a 200BAR, S40 (5,5 l.) DIN valve, Luxfer aluminum stage tank. Usually it's filled with EAN50 mix. I keep it oxygen service clean. It has a small label near the neck, right hand side, with the standard filling data (EAN %, MOD and diver name), a central NITROX label and, |

At the back bottom, where the dive buddy can easily read it, with big figures, is the MOD (Maximum Operating Depth) for 1,4 BAR of oxygen partial pressure. We use meters. |
Regulator and pressure gauge: The oxygen service regulator is a piston Scubapro MK2 first stage with a G-250 second stage. As a gauge i'm using a transmitter coupled as TD to my Uwatec Galileo SOL computer. I also have an analog gauge that can be mounted with a short, 15 cm./6 inches, HP hose and secured to the first stage body with a 3 mm. bungee loop, but I prefer the transmitter. |
Heat shrink tubing for stainless steel hose clamp: The stainless steel hose clamp (the band) is protected, against galvanic corrosion between steel and aluminum, with two pieces of heat shrink tubing. |
